Installation matters

Pump start-up, operation, downtime maintenance

1, the pump clean around.

3, try to open the motor, check whether the motor rotation and pump match.

4, Open the vent valve at the outlet flange, fill the pump with water, or use a vacuum pump to draw water.

5, turn off the discharge valve and pressure gauge cock plug.

6, the above work is completed, start the motor, open the pressure gauge cock.

7, when the pump is rotated at normal speed, the pressure gauge at the display, open the vacuum gauge cock and gradually open the outlet gate valve, until the required pressure so far.

8, in operation, the pump bearing temperature shall not exceed the outside temperature of 35 ºC, the maximum temperature of not more than 75 ºC. For every 500 hours of operation, grease the bearings with a high-pressure gun.

9, packing room or sealed room normal water level to 30-60 drops per minute is appropriate, should be adjusted packing gland or mechanical seal gland compaction level.

10, check the coupling regularly, pay attention to bearing temperature.

11, when the pump stops, should choose to close the outlet valve on the pipeline, turn off the vacuum gauge cock; and stop the motor, and then close the pressure gauge cock.

12, the pump found in the rotating abnormal noise, it should immediately shut down to check the reasons.

13, the winter cold season, such as the short-term deactivation of the pump, to be unscrewed into the water on the four-way snail. Will save the water, so as not to freeze the pump.

14, the pump after long-term use, if the flow pressure dropped significantly, you should open the pump inspection, replacement of its vulnerable parts.

Long-term stop using the pump, the pump should be disassembled, the pump parts of the water to dry, remove the rust, and coated with rust-proof grease, and then re-installed properly stored.
